Fraser Track & Field Information May 22, 2026

Fraser Middle Track Meet Information Form Dear Parents/Guardians: As part of the Physical and Health Education curriculum, Fraser Middle will be holding a school track meet on Friday, May 22nd. 

This track meet will be held at Rotary Stadium from 8:20am until 2:20pm. All students will be expected to participate in this event unless they have written permission from a parent or guardian excusing them for medical reasons. If students are going to be absent from the track meet, they must bring a note to the office prior to Friday, May 15th. Students who are injured are still expected to participate as event helpers. 

The track meet will occur rain or shine. There is an alternate assignment for students who are unable to attend. Bus availability is very limited this year, so we ask that parents and guardians arrange to have their children dropped off and picked up from Rotary Stadium (32470 Haida Dr.). 

Please drop students off between 7:45 8:20am and pick them up at 2:15. Attendance will be taken at the stadium. *Note that 1500m runners must be ready to run at 8:00am. If you would like your child to leave early, a note must be brought to their teacher prior to Friday, May 15th. These students will also be required to sign out at the track meet. Please ensure students plan accordingly so they have everything they need. 

Student Rules and Expectations *All School Rules Apply • Please do not walk over the track as it might disrupt a race in progress. • No leaving the stadium or going behind the stands • Stay in the stands unless you are in an event  This means no sitting, standing or rolling down the grass hills  No Loitering by the East Field House, covered area or on the Field • Everyone must help to clean-up during the day and at the end of the day • Students must be in their PE strip (or dressed for the weather if it is cold or wet) • If a student does not comply with these expectations, parents will be contacted and asked to pick up their child immediately. Students should bring: Water bottles Nutritious lunch Hat and Sunscreen Jacket if raining (dress for the weather) ** Concession will be open **
