Traffic Flow and Parent Parking

At Fraser, our pick-up and drop-off times are incredibly busy. We ask everyone to follow our traffic procedures to help keep students safe and traffic moving efficiently.

Please remember:

• Use the designated student pick-up and drop-off area at the front of the school.
• Have students ready to enter or exit the vehicle promptly.
• Do not stop in the roundabout. Keep moving through the traffic loop.
• Pull forward whenever space becomes available.
• If you are waiting for your child, please use designated parking areas rather than the drop-off lane.
• Be mindful of staff vehicles entering and exiting the staff parking lot.
• In the bus loading area on the north side of the traffic loop, stay to the left. The curb lane must remain clear so buses can safely load and unload students.
• Leave extra time and be patient during our busiest arrival and dismissal periods.

We also encourage families to consider our Walk to School and Drive to 5 initiative. The attached map identifies recommended walking routes and several locations where families can park and have students walk the final few minutes to school. Reducing the number of vehicles entering the school parking lot improves safety and helps traffic move more smoothly for everyone.
