Fraser Coffee and Connect - November 5th
Parents and caregivers are invited to join us for our next Coffee and Connect session, a welcoming opportunity to connect with other families while learning about an important topic affecting many children and youth today: anxiety and school avoidance.
Presented by Deb Cameron, Mental Health Clinician, and Brett Smith, Itinerant Youth Care Worker, this informal session will help families:
- Better understand anxiety in children and adolescents
- Recognize signs of school avoidance
- Explore practical strategies to support school attendance
- Build confidence and resilience at home
- Learn about school and community resources available to help
Whether you are currently supporting a child experiencing anxiety or simply want to learn more, this session offers a chance to ask questions, share ideas, and build connections with other parents and caregivers in a supportive environment.
