Fall After-School Programs at Fraser Middle School

Fraser Middle School is again excited to partner with the Abby Community School Society to offer three engaging after-school programs for students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 this fall. These programs provide opportunities for students to build skills, explore interests, and connect with peers in a fun and supportive environment.

Basketball Program

Students will learn and develop key basketball skills including shooting, ball handling, passing, screening, and man-to-man defense through hands-on drills and activities. Each participant will have plenty of opportunities to practice and improve their game. (6 sessions) 

Dates: Tuesdays, October 27 to December 1, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: Fraser Middle School Multi-Purpose Room
Cost: $75 per student

Public Speaking Program

This program helps students develop confidence and presentation skills. Participants will learn how to write a speech, manage speaking anxiety, practice effectively, use appropriate tone, and deliver engaging presentations. It's a great opportunity to prepare for school and future public speaking experiences. (6 sessions)

Dates: Thursdays, October 29 to December 3, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: Room N131, Fraser Middle School
Cost: $85 per student

Science Explorers Program

Students will discover the how's and why's of the world through exciting hands-on science activities and experiments. Participants will create projects using everyday materials, build hovercrafts, explore scientific concepts, and engage in a variety of interactive investigations. (6 sessions) 

Dates: Wednesdays, October 28 to December 9, 2026
Note: No session on November 11, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: Room N131, Fraser Middle School
Cost: $85 per student

We are happy to announce that we will be offering Abbotsford Community School programs at Fraser Middle School.   

To register for a program, all you need to do is open the PDF in this email and click on the Click Here! button or scan the QR Code.

If you have an existing Amilia account please sign into your account and/or follow the prompts to register your child.

If you DO NOT have an account you simply need to create one through our Amilia Registration system, look for the small blue writing beneath the sign in boxes “create an account here”.

Once you have created an account, go back to the link and click on the RED REGISTER button and follow the next few steps.

You will need to fill out all of the information asked, this process will take a few minutes, but after that, the next time it will be a very quick process!  

**Expiry date for medical card, if you do not have an expiry date on your child’s card, just pick the longest year, this is not an issue at all.

Creating an account is not registration, you will need to go back and click on the RED REGISTER button and follow the next few steps.

**Please note: Students must be registered in order to attend any ACSS programs, camps, and/or events. We strongly encourage Parents/Legal Guardians to please view our Policies & Procedures upon registering for programs, camps, and/or events. If your child is registered for an ACSS program, camp, and/or event and you have any questions, concerns, or inquiries regarding our Policies and Procedures, please contact the Program Coordinator**.
